What we're reading, watching, debating, and spiraling about when we're not making your brand famous.
Yesteryear
The book club pick half the channel finished within a week while the rest of us dodge spoilers. House criteria for a rec remain unchanged: a dragon, an enemies-to-lovers arc, or ideally both.
Off Campus, All of It
We picked it up as a palate cleanser and read the entire series in a group fugue state. Jessica binged it in a weekend, then realized she'd read it all once before. Now the show is out, opinions are strongly held, and a meeting has been called. With an agenda.
October 27
Two Sarah J. Maas releases within six months is not a publishing schedule, it is a lifestyle adjustment. October 27 is our internal high holy day and the PTO requests are already filed. Daniella is being sent on vacation with the Graphic Audio. She did not ask. It is happening.
Mescal & Edgar-Jones
Brianna fell down the Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones wormhole and immediately began recruiting. The resistance lasted exactly one message: “Noooo should I??” This is how every wormhole here begins.
In Our AI Era
Claude thinks through strategy with us, Kling makes the video magic, and our automations quietly handle what used to eat whole days. Idea to finished client reel in five minutes. The ideas are still ours. The robots just cleared the runway.
Caffeine & Chaos
We brainstorm on the clock, debate character arcs off it, and our group chats have footnotes. We are not normal. We have made peace with this.
A New Name on the Roster
A true CPG giant just joined the client roster — a name you have absolutely heard of and quite possibly bought this month. The NDA says that is all we can share. The restraint is costing us.
Kate & Tiffany
Two new unicorns in the House. Kate Leon builds the strategy and edits the video that brings it to life. Tiffany Ammerman arrived in June and became the calmest, most organized person on every call. Hiring here ends with an all-team vibe session. The vibes were immaculate.
Kyree's Wedding Trailer
He got married this summer, and twelve hours later he dropped a fully edited cinematic trailer of his own wedding. Twelve hours. Most people are still finding bobby pins. The Slack thread demanding a screening formed instantly.
Brittany's Return
The first-ever Yellow House baby is home and perfect, and now we are counting down the days until his mom is back at her desk. Maternity leave is sacred and we would never rush it. But nobody said we couldn't keep a countdown.
A Dream, Literally
We spent the spring helping a brand-new platform that teaches girls how to become founders go from big idea to launch day. First posts live, mascot out in the world, bios polished. Start dreaming, indeed.
A Month of Survivor Stories
June was National Cancer Survivors Month, and we spent it helping a national blood cancer nonprofit hand the mic to the people who matter most: survivors. We closed with a film made from the community's own photos. We cried. Worth it.
The All-House Summit
During our two-day summit in Boston, many margaritas were consumed in the evening, and somewhere at Myers + Chang we realized we all have exactly the same taste in food. Ordering for the table has never been easier.
The Hobbies Channel
Our newest Slack channel is everything we make off the clock: pottery fresh off the wheel, a sourdough starter on a redemption arc, backyard chickens, a cooking club, paintings. Easily the most wholesome corner of the company.
That Threads Crossover
A hockey romance novel collided with a beloved half-century-old renovation TV brand on Threads. The internet lost its collective mind, and public radio called to ask how it happened. We will be dining out on this for years.
Daniella's Trello Board
Described by the team as "unreal" and "actual goals." If organization were a sport, Daniella would be winning championships.
Gods and Monsters
The slump is over. The entire team is somewhere in the Gods and Monsters series, sliding down the wall screaming about it. Our founder is on book two and not okay, in the best possible way.
Our AI Stack
Claude for strategy. Kling for video. Canva for the design systems. We don't gatekeep our tools. We automate what used to take days.
After Hours, Literally
Basketball mentorship. Painting. Ballroom dancing. A cooking club. Pottery. Backyard chickens and a very productive bean patch. This team does not stop creating at five, and we have stopped pretending otherwise. Multi-dimensional people make better work.
